What is refraction?
Fill a transparent glass with water. Place a pencil in
it. Draw what you see.

EXPERIMENT 2: Separating The Wavelengths of White
Light
Take a white piece of construction paper and fold it in half.
Stand it up like an open greeting card. Shine a flashlight through
a prism so that a rainbow like spectrum of color is projected
on the white piece of paper.
Draw and label what you see.

Repeat the experiment with black, red, and green pieces of
construction paper.
