ELECTROMAGNET
Build an electromagnet. Leave about 7 cm of wire free on both
ends. Carefully wind the wire around the nail or bolt. Attach
the ends of the wire to a battery. This causes a current of electrons
to flow through the wire which creates a magnetic field around
it.
