CROWD CONTROL

Students will be so interested in the events of the day that you probably won't have any behavior problems, but just in case, here is somethings that can be done.

A crowd control supervisor can roam the campus on the carnival day enforcing the rules and assiting the flow of students. This is not such a bad job since you'll be able to check out the presentations when you make the rounds.

Set up a Time Out area for students if they disrupt the carnival. Hopefully no students will end up here. But just in case...

Here is an example of the rules that one elementary school came up with for their science carnival

SCIENCE CARNIVAL RULES

Students must stay at a presentation until it is finished.

Students must be at a presentation during presentation times.

If an presentation is full then procede to an alternate choice for that session.

Show Respect for the presenters and volunteers. They're giving their time to you.

Listen Carefully and Follow the Directions of the presenters.

Respect other students. The Science Carnival is for all to learn and enjoy.
